SD Sangoku Soketsuden Sun Ceremony Gundam Astray

The gold-plated runner parts add a nice premium look without needing paint. Assembly went smoothly in about an hour, and the articulation in the shoulders is better than I expected for an SD kit.

The joints on this kit are surprisingly tight for an SD, so posing it mid-battle feels solid instead of floppy. Assembly took me an evening, and the molded plastic detail on the shoulders really pops once you panel-line it.

The gold trim on this kit is molded really cleanly, so it looks way more premium than the price suggests. Snap-fit assembly went smooth for a Saturday afternoon, and the joints hold poses well. Even as a beginner with SD kits, I had this built in under two hours.
