HG 1/144 #16 Meteor Unit + Freedom Gundam

The articulation on the Freedom's wings is smooth enough for some great action poses, and the Meteor unit's sheer size makes the whole thing feel like a proper centerpiece. Snap-fitting the thrusters took a little patience, but the panel detail pops once you get it all together.

Took me a solid evening to snap everything together, but the sheer presence of the Meteor Unit on a shelf is ridiculous—it dwarfs the Freedom Gundam completely. The injection plastic has crisp panel lines that make panel-lining a joy, and the kit's sheer bulk gives it a display weight that feels far

The articulation on the mobile armor is incredible, and I love how the Freedom Gundam locks into it perfectly for those iconic display poses. Assembly took a few evenings, but every part fit cleanly.
