The articulation on the joints is incredibly tight for a 1/144 kit, so it holds poses without sagging. It took me a couple of evenings to finish, but the injection-molded plastic fits together so cleanly that even the tubing was a breeze. This red Zaku just looks menacing on the shelf.

The red plastic has a nice glossy finish that pops on the shelf, and the Zaku II's iconic monoeye sticker lines up perfectly. Snapping together the shoulder shields took me about two evenings, and the final pose with the heat hawk feels super dynamic.

The inner frame articulation is honestly ridiculous for a 1/144 scale, the leg pistons and hoses feel like a mini masterpiece once they're all snapped together. Assembly took me a good few evenings, but the detail on the mono-eye and torso tubing is worth every minute.
