Quick answer
Keep your My Melody My Color Figure capsule toy in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Use a soft cloth to dust it gently and avoid handling it with greasy hands.
Why care matters for capsule toys
Capsule toys like the My Melody My Color Figure are small, detailed collectibles that can be more delicate than larger figures. The random nature of the purchase means you may get a figure you love, so keeping it in good condition is important. Dust, sunlight, and humidity are the main threats.
Frequently asked questions
- How should I display my My Melody capsule toy?
- Place it on a shelf or in a display case away from windows and direct sunlight. A clear acrylic riser or small stand helps show it off without risking it falling over.
- What is the best way to clean it?
- Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe off dust. For stubborn spots, slightly dampen the cloth with water—never use chemicals or alcohol, as they can damage the paint.
- How do I store capsule toys I'm not displaying?
- Keep them in the original capsule or a small, padded box. Store in a cool, dry area with stable temperature and low humidity to prevent warping or paint damage. Avoid storing in attics, basements, or bathrooms where temperature and humidity fluctuate.
