HG Evangelion 00 (New Movie Ver.)

The articulation in the shoulder joints is much better than my older Eva kits, letting me pull off some dynamic poses. I’m really impressed with how crisp the molded detail on the chest plate and head crest turned out straight off the runners.

The plastic has a nice matte finish that makes it look more like the movie version. The only thing I'd note is the white parts needed a tiny bit of cleaning up, but the build was still really enjoyable.

The build was straightforward enough, though a couple of the joints felt a bit tight and needed some careful sanding. Once assembled, the proportions and sculpt really capture the movie version's look.
