Majima Collection Vol. 2 Capsule Straps: Your Yakuza Gacha FAQ

What you actually get in the Majima Collection Vol. 2 capsule rubber straps, how the blind box works, and whether this Kiryu-chan showtime strap is worth adding to your Yakuza gacha shelf.
Quick answer
Buy it if you enjoy the gamble of a blind box and want an officially licensed Yakuza: Like a Dragon rubber strap for your keys, bag, or display. Skip it if you need to know exactly which character you are getting before you pay.
Why the blind box format matters more than the price
At USD 5.84 against a USD 8.00 catalog comparison price, this is an impulse-priced capsule toy, not a centerpiece figure. The real cost is uncertainty: one capsule is chosen at random, so you cannot request Kiryu-chan, Majima, or any other design. That is fine for collectors who enjoy the surprise, but frustrating if you are chasing one specific character.
The strap itself is a rubber strap intended for keys, bags, or display. It is a small accessory, so judge it as a fun piece of Yakuza merchandise rather than a detailed statue. If you want a guaranteed character, buy a fixed-pose figure instead; if you want the gacha thrill, this delivers it.
Where this strap fits in a Yakuza collection
Capsule straps work best as accents. Clip one to a bag or keyring and it becomes a conversation piece; line several up on a shelf and they read as a mini gacha display. Because the design is random, duplicates are possible if you buy more than one, so plan for trades or giveaways rather than assuming every capsule adds a new character.
The Majima Collection Vol. 2 branding signals this is part of a series, which makes it a natural companion to other Yakuza gacha capsule toys. It is not a substitute for a scale figure, and the listing does not promise a specific strap length or material beyond rubber, so treat those details as unknown until you open it.
Yakuza capsule strap FAQ
- Can I choose Kiryu-chan or a specific character?
- No. This is a blind box capsule toy, and one capsule is chosen at random. The listing does not offer character selection, so any specific design is luck of the draw. If a specific character is non-negotiable, look for a fixed-design product instead.
- What can I attach the rubber strap to?
- The catalog describes it for keys, bags, or display. Use the strap loop on a keyring or bag zipper, or keep it in a display case. Avoid hanging heavy items from it, since it is a small rubber accessory.
- Is the Majima Collection Vol. 2 strap worth USD 5.84?
- At that price it is a low-risk gacha purchase, especially against the USD 8.00 catalog comparison price. Judge it as a fun officially licensed novelty, not as a detailed collectible figure. Set a budget for how many random capsules you will buy before duplicates start to sting.
- Will I get duplicates if I buy more than one?
- Possibly. Because each capsule is random, the listing does not guarantee distinct designs across multiple purchases. Buy multiples only if you are open to trading or gifting extras.
- Does it come with Ryuji Goda or other characters?
- The supplied catalog record names the product as part of Majima Collection Vol. 2 but does not list the full character lineup. Do not assume any specific character, including Ryuji Goda, is included until the store confirms the assortment. Ask the store for the full lineup if one character is the deciding factor.
